| What
makes Bestbuys Spas different to other Spa and Hot Tubs
companies?
No high pressure sales people just honest
advice and dedication to customer service.
|
How
much do they cost to run?
Once up to temperature, an average spa will cost less
than the price of a daily newspaper to run. |
Do
I require plumbing?
No, just a water supply nearby to allow the tub to be
filled by a hosepipe. |
Do
I have to put the spa in a building?
Just a matter of choice, it is not necessary, in fact
there is nothing better than laying in your hot tub with
a full view of the night sky. |
Can
I use it all year round?
Yes summer or winter in fact hot tubs were first made
popular in ski resorts. It is easy to adjust the temperature
according to your preference and once selected the temperature
will stay constant until you choose to change it......
It is a wonderful experience to lay in hot comforting
water with frost or snow on the ground. |
How
often do I change the water?
We recommend you change the water in your spa every ten
to twelve weeks. |
What
about spa maintenance?
Maintaining your spa is really straight forward, our spas
are fitted with on-board management systems which maintain
the water temperature and filter cycles. You will need
to check the spa on a regular basis, adjusting the level
of sanitizer and PH when necessary. |
Do
I have to use chemicals?
All of our spas are fitted with “Ozonators”
these produce “Ozone “ which is one of natures
most powerful oxidising agent and is 50 times more powerful
at killing bacteria and viruses than traditional pool
chemicals. However because many of these systems work
only when the pump is operating it is necessary to add
a small amount of additional chemicals such as chlorine
tablets when the spa is in use. One tablet every 2-3 days
should be sufficient for most average spa usages these
cost as little as £15 per 100.
There are different types of Ozenators and this is covered
in more detail on our separate info sheet “Question
and answers on Arctic Spas”
|
Can
we try a spa before we buy?
Yes we will be happy to arrange a time convenient to you,
usually after the store closes, this allows you to try
the spas without interruption. Changing facilities are
available but please bring your own robe and towel. |
How
long will I have to wait for my spa?
We try and keep a stock of spas available for almost immediate
delivery. In most cases, the time is dictated by the customer
getting the site ready. One of our trained technicians
will be happy to make a site visit and advise. |
How
much does it cost to deliver our spa?
Depending on access delivery and installation are included
with the price. We have a purpose built spa trailer that
is designed to allow us access to most sites. If a crane
or Hi-Ab are required these are charged at cost which
ranges from £100 to £500, view more at our
Bestbuys
Delivery section. |
What
power supply do I need?
We recommend a 32amp supply fitted with a RCD and a
external isolator.(all electrical work should be carried
out by a qualified electrician). The majority of spas
are fitted with 1 or 2 pumps, a blower, lights and of
course a heater.
We
also request 4m of cable from spa, to allow the technicians
to wire in from anyside. The way the spa can face anyway
you would like.
Combined
these cannot obtain sufficient power from a 13amp supply,
a 32amp supply will allow you to enjoy all thesefeatures
at the same time. |
What
do I do next?
We will be happy to arrange a “wet test” at
our premises to try one or more hot tubs. If you have
already made up your mind, we will send one of our spa
technicians to do a site survey which is complementary
and with no obligation.
